I've always wanted to visit Santa Fe. The first 2 of our 4 nights in New Mexico we stayed at Inn Of The Five Graces and it is more beautiful and intimate than pictures give credit. The rooms are immaculate, one-of-a-kind and we stayed in Magnolia which almost transports you to another world. Each like a little casita with adobe fireplaces & wet bars. The 24-hr staff is sweet, friendly and offer you all the amenities of home. The location is very central to shopping, restaurants & historical sites--we walked everywhere. It is Very Pricey!! but if ever there was a reason to splurge, this is it!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are different and gorgeous. Street noise/happenenings will be heard somewhat wherever you...

This was our first trip to Santa Fe, and after staying at the Inn of the Five Graces, it will not be our last. We have stayed at many Hotels, Inns, and Bed and Breakfast's through out the world......and we have never had an experience as wonderful as this. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that your requests are arranged. The rooms are unique in their decor. They are spacious, and the refrigerator is well stocked, and re-stocked continually. A complete breakfast (which is included) was delicious, and every item was prepared as we requested.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Cottonwood, and enjoyed having a second bathroom.

The Inn is beautiful and the images on line of the beautiful sort of Morroccan settings had us at the very beginning but it is the ambiance, the staff that will do anything to help you have a great stay. I am a foodwriter and they researched where we could eat and dine from the tiniest place to the most elegant. They are all foodies there and so we loved to talk about what we were eating endlessly. One of the staff, Candice, actually brought us homemade salsa from her mother. We finally tired of dining out our last and sixth night so they served us wine in the courtyard and strawberries that had just been dipped in chocolate. I could name all of the staff because I already miss them after two weeks and we cannot wait to go back. We will soon. The inn is located in a perfect spot, across from the great Bistro 315 and only four blocks from the square. You can walk everywhere or the staff will bring you and pick you up at no charge. There is no tipping or charge for parking. This cuts out alot of extraneous charges which is what happened to us once at Posada Santa Fe where there are lots of fees for everything. Enjoy the inn. Bob and Jacquie.

Room Tip: Ask for the sunniest room and don't worry about a kitchen. We didn't use ours.

I cannot say enough good things about this Inn! The staff is one of the most attentive that I have ever encountered trying to make sure that your stay is just perfect, which ours was. The first room we had was spacious and quite nice, but a little dark because it was facing the courtyard with no direct light. When I mentioned this to Judith, she arranged to have our room changed to one with huge windows, which made all the difference in the world. (Thank you Judith). People have complained about the cost, but when you consider that the delicious breakfast is included, and that the items in the mini bar are free, and that there are free newspapers every morning, (including the New York Times), and that there is free WiFi and free parking, and best of all, that tipping is included, the cost is not AS outrageous. The rooms are VERY decorated. There is a lot going on, but that kind of adds to the charm of it all. The location is ideal. THis was our first time visiting Santa Fe, and if we come back again, I would not stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for the Citrine room. Sun lit and airy. (Lotus felt a little too cave like because the sunlight...

This was our first stay at Inn of the Five Graces after many visits to Santa Fe over the years. As others have written, Inn of the Five Graces is a special place. Our room - Birdsong - was beautiful and comfortable - spacious living room, separate bedroom and creative furnishings. The mosaics in the bathroom were remarkable. Service was top notch - and a significant part of what sets Inn of the Five Graces apart from its competition. Worth the tariff.

My husband and I just returned from a trip through New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. While in Santa Fe we stayed at the beautiful Inn of the Five Graces. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very personable Fred Masoni and were informed we were upgrading to a suite. We were taken through the relaxing patios (of which there are many) to our door and what a delight when we walked through the door and our eyes fell on the incredible surroundings! Let's start with the bathroom: the mosaics in this bathroom are absolutely amazing -- a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look in this spacious room is another scene made intirely of expertly places pottery pieces. The shower is huge and the separate tub is big enough for my husband (he's 6'2") to completely stretch out his legs. The bed is quite comfortable and the bedroom is beautifully furnished. The turndown service was very special, but I won't ruin the surprise. The living area has leather club chairs, table and chairs, fire place, and a nice sized flatscreen. Off to the side is a small but adequate kitchen area with a sink, microwave, coffeemaker, and a fully stocked minibar that is available at no extra cost. The inn is located walking distance from the center of town with mnay great restaurants nearby. The breakfast that is included with the room was quite a pleasant surprise; made to order pancakes, waffles, omelets, eggs, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. Even the coffee was good and I'm very picky about my coffee!! Although this is not an inexpensive place to stay, we felt that the service, room, and overall ambience of the inn was well worth the cost.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
In one of Santa Fe’s most historic neighborhoods, designers Ira and Sylvia Seret, transformed a neglected cluster of traditional adobe buildings into a unique hotel. As internationally-known importers of exotic antiques, rugs, textiles and architectural elements, the Serets conceived the hotel as a showcase for their combined creative talents. From its 1996 opening as “Serets’ 1001 Nights”, the 24-suite hotel has been a magical retreat, brimming with the most exquisite of the Serets’ treasures, collected on travels through Central and South Asia. Sylvia Seret’s glorious, one-of-a-kind tile mosaics adorn the suites’ kitchens and bathrooms, while Ira Seret’s signature design style makes every space an extraordinary living experience. In 2002 the Inn was renamed to honor its sensuous atmosphere along with its many Afghan and Tibetan artifacts. The name, “Five Graces”, refers to an Eastern concept — the five graces of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Each needs to be honored in the full experience of life. Over the years, the Serets’ original vision has been continually developed with meticulous attention to excellent service, cuisine, and comfort as the Inn has grown into newly acquired properties on its historic street. They continually enhance the hotel’s visual experience, updating design elements and collection pieces throughout. The Inn’s mission is to offer guests a uniquely unforgettable experience. ... more   less
