“Excellent Hotel”

We had a very enjoyable 4-night stay at the Old Santa Fe Inn. Highlights included the clean and comfortable room, the fantastic breakfast, the extremely helpful front desk staff (thank you again Matt and Danny) and the perfect location -- close by to the Central Plaza and the Railyard section but on a quiet street. The only quibble I had was that our room (16) had a door to the adjoining room and that door, even when kept closed, let in a lot of noise (e.g., the TV) from our neighbors. Fortunately, they turned their TV off at 9:30 so it did not impact our sleep.

This was a great choice for Santa Fe. The room was very nice and the amenities excellent: Free Breakfast, Afternoon Mixer, etc. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all of our interests in the City.

Room Tip: The Ground Floor Rooms nearest the Lobby are most convenient.

We stayed two nights at this updated "motel/hotel" and were very pleased with our accommodations. Front desk staff was helpful and had some good suggestions for tours (Pink Lady Tour) and restaurants (The Shed). Room had a gas fireplace (really not needed while we were there), comfortable king bed, and a small but very clean bathroom. Great location with an easy walk to The Plaza, Museums and State Capital. Complimentary breakfast was very good (terrific hot chocolate) serviced by a friendly staff.

Room Tip: Our room was one of just two that were right on the main street and we were concerned about the poss...

What a wonderful find in the hustle of Santa Fe. The accommodations were as advertised, close to the Plaza, gracious staff from front desk, to housekeeping, and certainly the breakfast personnel. My husband and I spent three nights in a King Kiva suite, which offered much needed privacy while offering all the creature comforts one could ask for. Most of all, there was such a sense of peace and caring from every person on the property. This was a perfect getaway weekend to surprise my husband for his 60th birthday and one neither of us will ever forget. I read in earlier reviews that the Kiva rooms were small, they are but it is everything as advertised. The extra amenities such as Starbucks coffee, cookies, chocolates were terrific but it is the people who made the Inn a special place. Not to mention no "resort fee, having to pay for parking, and free Wi-Fi...... all within walking distance of the Plaza, restaurants, and the Railyard.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice décor. Quiet rooms. Main lobby nice place to sit. Only a 7 minute walk to the Plaza so it was a perfect spot just far enough away, but close enough to walk. Felt very safe too. Breakfast could use some improvement.

This place is very luxurious with lovely comfortable rooms that provide great extras like chocolates, water, make-up remover towels, and much more. They have free Starbucks coffee in the lobby, free cookies in the evening and a delicious breakfast bar. The staff are very helpful especially the lady at breakfast who was lovely. The location is very close to the old town, about 5mins walk.

I find it really difficult to choose a place to stay based on an internet description but found the Old Santa Fe Inn exactly as advertised. The room was smallish but nicely appointed and the Inn is an easy walk to the old town. The staff are very nice and helpful and the breakfast buffet fantastic! Santa Fe can be very expensive (found some hotels that were $500 and up!) but the Inn is reasonably priced and very nice.
