The good news is that Tomme has an outdoor patio and the location is walkable from the heart of Santa Fe. The interior is likewise nice. However, if you think that paying $28 for two scallops drowning in butter is acceptable, then this is your place. I found Tomme to be a place that cooks with relatively unexciting and cheap ingredients, has poor service, yet charges high-end prices. A baked egg for $12, iceberg lettuce with bacon as a salad? Feh. Our scallops were surrounded by dry buttery spetzle devoid of character. Though the food was tasty and the unexpected appetizer of an apple slice with a slice of their home-made cheese was nice, we were both disappointed overall. The wait staff made up for the delays with a free dessert, which was over-sweet, but appreciated nonetheless. If you are new to Santa Fe, I would suggest other places to eat. I would not re-visit.
