“Cozy but Modern”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

The Screen provides mostly highly regarded Indie films that aren't shown anywhere else in town. You will find wholesome snacks, and great popcorn at the concession stand -- also, a fresh cup of Keurig coffee if you're in the mood. The seats are comfortably positioned like a stadium, so you never have a sight to screen problem. And the people who run the Screen are always friendly and helpful. What more could you want in a movie
experience?

“Indy films with top quality sound, projection”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

If you're into Indy films this is your place. Built in a former sound stage this theatre has top quality sound and projection systems. They also feature interesting filmsthat you're not going to see at your local multiplex. Note worthy is their HDlive performances from around the world including opera, dance and theatre. This is a much better venue then the Met live performances at the Lensic

“Tour Santa Fe University of Art and Design”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

The Screen is on the SFUAD campus. It houses the second largest green screen in the world and the set for Longmire. We did not get to see a production at The Screen, but we are looking forward to it. We did get to see the SFUAD Graphic Art's student's October Show just a walk from The Screen! Some incredible pieces of art and a tingle of inspiration from some of the most powerful up and coming New Mexico artists.

“Great little theatre”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

So nice, no crowds, comfy seats, big screen. Weird movie but interesting and made for great after movie conversation. Isn't that what its all about? Really enjoyed and will definitely return.

“One great movie theater”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

My husband and I frequently watch films at The Screen which one might call an "art house". It shows award-winning movies from around the world, ones that are rarely shown at regular movie theaters. Most recently we saw "The Reluctant Fundamentalist".
The theater not only offers excellent choices, but also has very comfortable seats and better-than-average snack choices.
For out of towners, it is a little off the beaten path but is worth finding on a map if a first class movie is what you have in mind.
