BIG place--don't be fooled by the entrance. You can watch artisans work, blowing glass, working with metals, wood, ceramics, which is cool. Lots of different stores with different types of things for sale. Some touristy stuff, but also great place for huge pots, landscaping stuff, some decor, a little clothing, some gourmet foods and coffees...just a fun place to spend a couple of hours.

There is alot of 'stuff' at this place, with many items from Mexico, Indonesia, India, China etc. You will find furniture, pots, garden items, glassworks, masks, and the usual Mexican trinkets, dolls, masks etc.
Its a fair bit south from the central hub of the Plaza area on Cerrillos Road.
The prices are quite reasonable, however it looks like all the same stuff we can get at home at the import shops so we ended up not buying anything, but it was fun to look around.
Be wary of the 'north west coast masks', they are poor imitations made in Indonesia.
Young children would have fun finding affordable trinkets, rocks and beads here, and love to watch the golpher enclosure.

The shops seem to change over time. You can go in and find some decently priced items. But next time -- no.

For shopping, it is certainly better than Tesuque Flea Market. But we find it best for just looking around without buying.

We spotted Jackalope the first time we visited Santa Fe 17 years ago and stop by every time we're in town. There is a little something for everybody here! There are several buildings that house everything from furniture to artwork to knick knacks. Outside you can find anything you want for your backyard- statues, chimeneas, benches and more. There is an area that houses prarie dogs (who knew they hibernate in the winter?!). It was chilly the day we went, so they had a chimenea fired up and customers could roast their own marshmallows or make Smores. They have an impressive collection of Mexican art, especially the Huichol Indian beaded and thread artwork. Like jewelry? They have that, too! Jackalope has imports from all over the globe. It's fun to take an hour or two and explore. You just might find some treasures along the way!
