My wife and I spent a week at the Lavender Casitas--Espiritu, to be specific. We made the reservation "blind," having never been to Santa Fe before, but were very pleased with what we experienced. The accommodations are compact, but certainly larger than a typical hotel room. It was clean and well-maintained and imaginatively decorated. The Comcast cable TV connection (complete with On Demand programming) was a nice surprise. We had first class meals in seven different restaurants (hitting a couple more than once), and we walked to all of them. The downtown plaza area was an easy walk (15 minutes at a very leisurely pace). Linda's recommendations about field trips (we went to Pecos and Taos) were invaluable. The patio area and the hot tub were a delight. We would definitely stay there again.
