“Good pastries but expensive”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

We had been looking for a French pastry shop and none seem to fit what we had in mind. Then we stumbled upon the Burro Alley Cafe and the almond croissant fit. Forgot to ask price ahead of time and were shocked to find it 3.95! Coffee and sodas were $2. The pastry was good, but too expensive and the servers forgot about us after being served and had to track them down for a coffee refill and our check.

“expensive for americano and pastry”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

The almond croissant was tasty but at $3.95 and $3.20 for a small Americano coffee, we weren't
overimpressed.

“Favorite Breakfast Place”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

This is the best place in Santa Fe for breakfast. The pastries are exquisite. The wait staff is fabulous. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. The restaurant has a very nice courtyard--great for warm weather dining. We visit the Burro Cafe every time we're in town.

“Great Bakery, Great Food!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

We sat in the Courtyard with music playing, delightful sounds from the Water Fountain and had a Wonderful Breakfast! The Baked goods looked Delicious, however we were too full to try them. We will definitely return to feast on those Sweet Treats behind the Glass! Atmosphere and Service were perfect!

“A Pleasant Respite from the Plaza”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

My wife and I were searching for a restaurant to have a late lunch near the Santa Fe Plaza and we stumbled across the very quaint Burro Alley. We had an excellent lunch in the outdoor courtyard, being serenaded by a very talented accordion player. It was a wonderful respite from the activity around the Plaza, with almost a Paris street cafe- like atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the wait staff could not have been more friendly. The prices were quite reasonable, especially for Santa Fe. We also had a breakfast inside, which was fine, but sit outside if you can.
