This small cafe is relatively new, they are trying hard - and it shows. We lunched there twice during our four-day visit. The green chile stew special was yummy - but the flan (made by the husband in this mom & pop business) was hands-down the best we have ever had, perfect texture, not overly sweet, and decadently creamy taste! My husband usually spurns desserts, but he had to have his own flan - no sharing! The owners are delightful, warm smiles - and everything was squeaky clean.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and had walked by the Cafe. We decided to stop back for breakfast. Good decision! The food was served hot and quickly. It was excellent! Damian and Maria were fantastic hosts. Coffee cups were never emply, table cleaned as soon as we finished eating. Maria always had a genuine smile, as did Damian. The atmosphere was bright, cozy, and clean. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this unique cafe to anyone.

We found the menu to be nothing special with no signature dishes. Sandwiches are made with Boar's Head meats instead of freshly made. The breakfast was ho-hum. I much prefer the Swiss Bakery, Clafoutis, Tesuque Market, or Southside.

Really enjoyed the New Mex-Tex style food. Local America the way it was, back when you could make a living off your own hole-in-the wall business. I wish them well, and have never felt like I was more appreciated just for dropping in for lunch.

We came here for a light lunch and were more than satisfied with the food and service. I had the green chile stew which was chock full of beef chunks and potatoes with a pleasant burn from the chile. My wife had a half BLT & a tasty bowl of mushroom soup. The sandwich was plentiful with lots of bacon & greens on fresh marble rye. The homemade lemonade we both had was very good. The staff was friendly and the location just east of the plaza was very convient.
