Description: The Atrisco Cafe & Bar is a friendly, neighborhood New Mexican restaurant. Our philosophy is simple recipes, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. We cater to the tastes of Santa Feans who love authentic New Mexican chile, but also offer a small but carefully crafted selection of American dishes such as burgers with house-cut fries, Southwest Chicken Salad, and Meat Loaf. When possible, we purchase New Mexico grown ingredients, including all-natural grass-fed ground beef, lamb, red and green chile, honey, and vegetables when in season.

“Authentic southwest dishes and kind service with a great bar!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Ive been a patron here for close to 20 years off and on as I come to visit. Always a consistently good meal, and great service. There success is evident by the fact that they have been in the same location for so long despite a sordid history of the surrounding businesses that have come and gone. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys southwest cuisine. The bar serves great drinks and knows how to mix them right. (Strong)...be sure to let them know that is their reputation and they won't let you down.

“The local go-to spot for dinner”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Even though the idea of dining in a place located in a mall might not appeal to you, do not let it's location keep you away. Yes, it looks onto a parking lot, but it's not the view that brings people here; it's the food and down-home atmosphere. This is a place where friends meet to eat good New Mexican food at a great price. Dinners are always good there. Try the blue corn chicken enchiladas with an over easy egg on top. You may not expect it, but the meatloaf is also very good. The frozen margaritas are strong. The wait staff is responsive and friendly and treat you well. Breakfast is served on weekends - the biscuits should not be missed!

“A real neighborhood place with real New Mexican cuisine”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Atrisco, in the deVargas Center is a simple place with excellent New Mexican cuisine. The locals swear by it. I had a great dinner with reasonably priced wine. My friend said that breakfast is to die for! Easy parking.

“Simple but delicious”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

The Atrisco Cafe is in a shopping mall. Not surprisingly, it has all the atmosphere of an IHOP. However, their food is excellent. It is New Mexican cuisine, with a couple of unusual dishes mixed in. My wife had the roasted leg of lamb burrito with green chile sause. I had the roasted leg of lamb sopaipilla with red chile sauce. Both were filled with tender, tasty lamb. No rice, no beans, just lamb. They were superb. The service was friendly, fast and helpful. The Sangria was also very good.

“Tasty New Mexican Restaurant where the locals dine”
Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is centrally located at the entrance to DeVargas Mall, and always seems to be busy. They have a weekend buffet brunch which is well attended. The menu is manageable and the food is tasty and reasonably priced and caters primarily to local patrons. The staff is friendly and accomodating, and the dining room is nicely appointed.
