“Excellent Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

This was a wonderful experience. Our Chef Tracey and assistant Noe demonstrated southwest cooking, not only making delicious food but keeping the experience light and sharing many tips to use in cooking at home, including using the pans, etc we already have to smoke meat on the stove top. Highly recommend this to everyone who likes to eat well as well as likes to cook. We were served 5 different items, from main course to dessert.

“Ehh”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

Nice tour of some nice restauarants, some of which were okay, others overpriced. Not spectacular afternoon...the foods were okay samplings and the wine pairings occaisionally interesting. Overall, I wouldn't do it again, I might, just might, try a cooking class.

“Walk the walk!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

For a great and different experience go on the Walking Tour run by the school. Its a four hour journey of discovery as you visit local restaurants (we did four) all of whom have a completely different style. the price might seem a little high but essentially you get to try several dishes and companion wines specially prepared for the group (there were 8 in ours).Believe me you will not want or need dinner! An added bonus is the chance to talk to the chefs an get expert insights and tips about food and wine.

“super fun/organized culinary treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

the "restaurant walk" is a 3-hour tour of chosen restaurants in the area. a great way to see and sample local places. the restaurants and head chefs treat you like royalty and you are stuffed and quite buzzed at the end. 5***** star....cost $100 a real deal considering the grub and comradery with the other peeps.

“We had so much fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

We attended the cooking class held at the Estrella del Norte Winery. Chef Michelle Roetzer is an amazing chef and the food was wonderful. This is the third class that I have taken with her and I always learn something new. She should have her own Food Network program!!!
