Description: In the time-honored tradition of great local haunts, Trattoria A Mano is the neighborhood Italian spot you hope to find in your travels. Featuring Northern Italian cuisine in the fall and winter months, A Mano ventures further south to coastal climes in the spring and summer, bringing you a wide range of delicious options. A Mano means “handmade” in Italian, a concept that is carried through all aspects of the kitchen repertoire, from daily-made fresh pastas and flavorful sauces, to the house-made focaccia, satisfying salads and hearty entrees. All desserts are made in-house under the guidance of our master pastry chef. Combining a well-chosen wine list with draft beers and attentive yet friendly service, A Mano is perfect for a family outing, a get-together with good friends, or that special celebration or date night…. A Mano – tiny, cozy, relaxed, playful, fun and delicious. Reserve now!

We actually had a reservation at another place, but found that it was closed when we get there. We had to go to plan B. We found Galisteo Bistro close by and just walked in with no reservation. They were busy, but fit us in. The restaurant was small but very attractive. The food was very good. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and it was yummy. We really enjoyed our dinner. Enjoy!

Quaint atmosphere, delicious food. Servers are all very happy to help. Chicken Saltimbocca very well prepared and shrimp salad the perfect light meal. Follow it up with the espresso ice cream / chocolate mousse / whip cream delight. You won't go home hungry!

We called at 5pm, snagged a 530 reservation for Sat eve. Dinner was v good, shared beet. And goat cheese salad, v tasty, beautiful presentation. I had seafood incream over pasta, v good. Friend had daily special, slow roasted leg of lamb, with savory flan, which was excellent. My pasta was good, not great. But waiter was delightful and friendly, overall a v good dining experience at reasonable price. Desserts looked v good, but we had no room!

We were looking for some place open for dinner on Easter Sunday because we did not want to stay home (we are locals) an decided on Galisteo Bistro.
In a town full of pretentious, self important restaurants and wait staff, this one is the exception. Th food was creative, fresh, well prepared, and varied. The menu is a variety of Italian, Spanish, Mediterranean, and Cajun dishes.
Both the owner and the staff were friendly and observant without being intrusive. My husband enjoyed his glass of sangria.
They serve coffee in a coffee press with enough for four cups. Unfortunately, they do not have espresso which would have been our choice.
Prices were standard for Santa Fe and not excessive. We will go back.
