This is a casual little eatery with an obviously local following. It was featured on "Diner, Dives, and Drive-ins" but that hasn't ruined it. When we ate there we were probably the only non-locals. The reason, I imagine, is that the food is good, unpretentious and inexpensive. The menu is not extensive, but it is adequate particularly since the food is so well prepared.
