“One of the best city tours we've ever had...anywhere!”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

My husband and I have travelled across the U.S. and many other countries. We've often taken city busy tours. This one was one of the best we've ever had. We went with our son, daughter-in-law, and 2-year-old grandson. In about 90 minutes, knowledgeable and friendly driver/guide Dave gave us and about 15 other people an excellent tour of Santa Fe, not only pointing out the various sights, but explaining much about their historical and sociocultural context. Whether you're going to be in Santa Fe for a day, a week, or a month, go on this tour early on. It will give you an excellent overview of the city and its history.
($15 for adults, $10 for children under 12.) Morning and afternoon tours leave from convenient almost-adjacent locations (Loretto Chapel and La Fonda Hotel), about a block away from The Plaza.

“Brief overview of Santa Fe at reasonable price”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We found this tour to be exactly as advertised: a brief overview of Santa Fe for a small fee. The tour lasted an hour and 15 minutes, so the older folks and younger folks didn't feel the seats were too hard for that timeframe. The tour guide provided a good overview about Santa Fe's history, architecture, geography, and art. In that short of a timeframe, you couldn't get more detailed.

Our guide didn't try to overly promote any restaurants or shops. He did show attractions (museums, galleries, etc.) that you could go back and explore on your own later. The tour helped me find my way around later, in a town that's very confusing to drive in.

I liked the open-air tram because the weather is nice and mild. Half our party got lost looking for the tour starting point, so a guide walked over and got us where we got lost. Now that's great service!

“Good Overview of the City”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

Short, well described history and tour of the city highlights. About 1 1/2 hours. The seats on the open air tram/bus are quite uncomfortable. It would have been tough going if the tour was longer. Guide was personable & knowledgable. A good way to get a feel for what to go back to.

“Just Blah”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

I agree with a previous review about taking the trolly tour in Albuquerque and having a great experience there. Now I do know that all toours vary and I have taken ones in places, Savannah, Charleston to name, and they have been terrific too. But our experience was very disheartening, just boring in the fact that there was no city info as to what is happening now, the ins and outs of the city, develope in future. Yes a lot of history & building info which was really great, but our guide was not excited at all about his city and what it has to offer. It helped us get the lay of the land & how to get around but when asked a question about the food trucks at the plaza, he seemed put off, like he didn't want to talk about them, rather go to the restaurants he mentioned. I understand local businesses need to be visited but aren't the food truck people local.

“<----(yawning) BORING!”
Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

After taking the trolley in Albuquerque,we were looking forward to another great tour in Santa Fe. However, the Albuquerque tour kinda set the bar. The Santa Fe was really a lot about just history lessons. Not many points of interest pointed out other than the many many art galleries and statues. Guide was monotone and really boring. He did not bring any excitement to the on board guests. Would recommend to the older generation as we were looking for more about points of interest. I could have googled Santa Fe and got what the guide told us but google would not show us the hot spots that was of an interest to see. $15 a person would be better spent at the casino.
