“The Sant Fe International Folk Art Festival July 13th!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

I want to commend the organization for having handicapped rides to entrance of the Folk Art Festival. I did not realize to lines one would have to wait in but the handicapped organization in place made this experience work for me. I loved all the wonderful vendors and the music was joyous. I saw the South African Musicians and dancers perform which was Wonderful. This event happens every year. So many volunteers make this possible.

“Folk Art Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

I loved the Museum the history of Chocolate made us all want chocolate in the worse way. Very interesting and learned a lot by watching their movie on the history of chocolate.
The Japanese Kites were beautiful.
Last but not least an amazing huge collection of folk art from all around the world in a wonderful display with a great little book to easily read about the displays that are of interest to you.

“Neat collections and free on Friday nights”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Nice museum that's not too big or overwhelming with several exhibits, including permanent exhibit of one man's folk art collection. Traveling exhibits about history of chocolate and Japanese kites were very interesting. Free parking or you can take shuttle from other tourist stops. We ate at Museum Cafe after, which was very good. Museum is free on Friday nights from 5 - 8 pm.

“Unlike other museums”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed the exhibits and spent some time exploring. Folk art reminds you that art can come in many different forms. The front desk staff were informative but gift shop crew somewhat stuffy. Art is for every, locals need to act less elitist.
