The slopes had many runs to choose from, The only negative some of the green slopes were more like cross country terrain. It was exhausting trying to move along those paths. It was also very warm that day, but the gift shop had a wide arrangements of T-Shirts to choose from.

Watch closely when you rent equipment!! We paid for high performance but were repeatedly issued standard equipment. Only one of the staff in the equipment rental area seemed to know what she was doing! Thanks Andrea!

Spring break crowds did not seem to clog lift lines and the staff on the slopes were more competent and friendly than others.

Ski storage was a mess. Although there are numerous ski racks for rent, very few actually worked. Had to store HP equipment separate from standard which caused delays in getting on the slopes the second day.

Expect lots of stair climbing in your ski boots and a $2 charge each time you get into a locker! Bathrooms seem to be placed as far away as possible and also require a lot of walking through overcrowded locker areas to reach.

Arrive early if you don't want to hike in from the parking area.

Of all the places we've skied in the New Mexico and Colorado area over the past 8 years...Santa Fe is by far the best. The most runs. More LIfts, And least crowded.

Ski Santa Fe has a great program for beginners. With lessons, club chipmunk and our favorite the conveyer belt bunny slope. This made skiing very beginner friendly. The weather was so perfect for spring ski. Warm and sunny could have skied in a wind suit. Good equipment rental and facilities.

Only issue is cost. Equipment is $25 per person and ski tickets are pricey. Family if four half day on bunny slope was close to $300 including equipment rental. I think they should have made cost less and tried to think ahead to getting kids hooked for life, who by the way bring parents:)

Although it has less ski lifts than Ruidoso, these are secure and the runs that they take you to are nice and long. I loved the Quad, and its different routes. I am not an intrepid skier, so this gave me the luxury of a long run that I could practice my techinque on and yet have fun skiing with the kids.
