This is a beautiful little chapel near the downtown square, certainly within a 5 minute walk. It's quite small inside and beautifully built. We sat quietly in the back while others walked around, mainly looking and taking photos of the mysterious staircase. It's worth a stroll to see the chapel and sit, think and look around at the beautiful, warm surroundings.

They charge way too much for how small the chapel is and how there really isn't a tour or much offered by way of education. With that said, it is the beautiful, miraculous place as advertised and worth a visit.

Worth the visit to stare at the wonderful carpentry and design. It was stunning. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We've been to Loretta Chapel several times and every time it's a treat. The staircase is mind boggling and the chapel is charming and reverent.

This architecture is worth seeing when you come to Santa Fe. There is also a gift shop with things like Rosary Beads (I prefer Seraphim's beautiful Rosary Bead creations - over in the Canyon Road Arts district but cost difference is greater than you will find here). We walked from Pascals to the church and it was a very easy walk as is most all of Santa Fe. Out in front of the church there was some touristy vendors set up with wares not made in New Mexico. Do not let this stop you from viewing the majestic structure and going inside to see the beautiful lines, stain glass, and spiral staircase. Be sure to check out their calendar on Loretto Chapels website because the church is not always open to the public (They have weddings during the week during heavy bridal seasons)
