A beautiful old church. I t has an unusual and beautiful staircase with a fascinating legend. It's close to the Plaza and around the corner from the Cathedral. Well worth a 15 -20 minute visit.

This historic and legendary chapel with the mystical winding staircase is truly awe inspiring. Don't miss it just off the Plaza downtown.

Went to see the chapel and stairs. The inside of the chapel was lovely, and the stairs were unusual. There is a photo showing the stairs the way they were built, without railings. I can see that it could be scary going up and down without railings, and I do wonder how it stays up... The entry fee is not high, so it is an interesting side attraction to see.

This chapel is stunning! The staircase is a masterpiece. It only takes a couple minutes to go in and check it out and it is worth it. I like the trees with the rosaries hanging on the branches too. It is worth the price.

Although there is a small charge to enter ($3), this chapel is worth a stop. The staircase inside is so beautiful and stories about it make it come alive. Sit down in the chapel and listen to the English taped story about the site.
