“Worth a visit”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

There are no services conducted here anymore as it is now open to the public for viewing. There is a $3 entree fee. We went there with some friends, one who is an architect and the other a structural engineer, and they both agreed that this staircase was indeed a mystery :) Whether you believe it or not, it's worth looking at. They also have a gift shop in case you would like to buy some items to remember your visit.

“Must see miracle!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

A must see "miracle" in Santa Fe, NM. The "miraculous' stairs of the Loretto Chapel is something to see. $3.00 to see an engineering marvel (at the very least) spiral staircase that has no nails or supports, built by a homeless man who left before accepting payment. Some believe that is was Saint Joesph himself that came to build the staircase for the nuns of Loretto. The Chapel itself is a beautiful small church with a spectacular altar. Definitely go see Loretto Chapel when in Santa Fe!

“Just a beautiful old Church--with a magic staircase”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Attended a traditional wedding and I couldn't help but notice how similar some of the features are to the great churches of Europe. Flying buttresses and all that. Small and gorgeous.

“You won't believe it unless you see it.”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

The spiral staircase and the architechure of this magnificent cathederal is well worth the $3 admission. And unlike the Georgia O'keefe where they won't let you take any photo's you can snap to your hearts content here Must see in Santa Fe.
