“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

This was beautiful. We got a little history on our town tour and wanted to see the inside. The inside is simply stunning. The volunteers were very helpful, explaining the history behind the artwork and the architecture. Very glad we took the time to go inside.

“Beautiful part of Santa Fe History”

If you are near the plaza, this is a must. It's a very beautiful Church and is a part of Santa Fe's history.

“Easter Sundy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

We attended mass on Easter Sunday. The pews were packed but everyone made room for us to sit. The choir was outstanding. Beautiful church and worth a visit even just to see the interior.

“Great piece of Santa Fe history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

This cathedral has a very Mission feel to it. It is a very different 'cathedral' to what we are used to seeing. Internally and externally quite stunning. The alter screen is beautiful. There is a nice gift shop with a good selection of cards and books.

Note: there are no bathroom facilities. The nearest public facilities are at the car park in Water Street.

“lovely little cathedral”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

Stopped in on Easter morning, right before Mass began. The church was decorated beautifully, of course. It had an intimate feeling to it, even though it was a larger church. The statue in front on the church, of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint, is beautifully done, and really is something to see. Even if you don't stay for mass, do wander the grounds. It's right near the city center and can't be missed from the surrounding streets.
