My daughter and I stayed at the Casa De La Cuma for a week. We couldn't of been happier.
The hospitality was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and ideal for us.
We were treated like family and breakfast was always special and delicious.
We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!!!!!!

Thank you Coleen and Shaan.

"PERFECT PARADISE IN THE CITY" Yes, Casa Cuma is a travellers respite of "Home Away From Home" It is a twinkling star in the midst of suburbia. Set high on a hill overlooking the starlit city, it is peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor patio where a delicious home cooked "gourmet" breakfast is prepared and served by Colleen abd Shane daily is one not to be missed. I loved the cheese stuffed french toast with warm apricot sauce. The best part about this B@ B is the whole ambiance of the place; the relaxing outdoor patio with high cedar trees, bird feeders, lovely gardens and hot tub, to the lovely theme rooms all different and unique, to the warm hospitality of the owners gracious attitude towards each guest, as if they were family. We had the Opera Suite, a self contained suite attached to the side of their house. It had 2 rooms, a living room with a kitchenette with comfy couch and big table to prepare the meals, but the decor was whimsical, musical, bright and uplifting. The bedroom was large, with a comfy bed, a seperate bathroom with shower and A/C for those hot nights. We absolutely loved our 6 night stay not to mention the bedtime snacks and cookies that Colleen puts out for the guests each night. It is close to walking distance to all the interesting places to explore in town. It was also a very quiet place to stay in a nice residential area. We will definately stay there when we go back again. We loved meeting new guests each day and sharing in one anothers stories while sampling Colleens creative gourmet dishes in a relaxing beautiful atmosphere. We LOVE everything about Casa Cuma and Santa Fe and will be back soon. Shane is also very well versed in giving guests lots of information on things to do. It definately sets itself apart from the big impersonable hotels in town. You definately have to go there to experience this charming, unique and warm hearted B@B in the land of Enchantment. See you next year! Christine and Howard.

We stayed 4 nights at Casa de la Cuma. The breakfast nook issue previously reported is no longer an issue - breakfasts were communal and in a lovely setting outdoors. If anything, the breakfasts are a bit too rich. Shaan and Colleen go the extra 5 or 6 miles for their guests - they're very attentive about the altitude and its effect on lowlanders, they gave extra help when guests found themselves in a pinch, they're knowledgeable about hikes in the area, etc. Not only that, they're well networked into the classical music scene in the area and into the B&B community in Santa Fe and Taos. For example, they were full the first night that we wanted and recommended a very nice alternative that worked out very well for us.

My husband and I stayed at Casa de la Cuma for 3 nights in June. The property was serene and pleasant on a quiet street a couple of blocks away from the center of town, but quite easily accessible to all of the sights. Our room was charming and immaculate. The B&B did a great job at the little details that make all of the difference-- there was a fridge fully stocked with bottled water for the guests (which is a must in Santa Fe in June), tea and coffee available throughout the day, and yummy homemade afternoon cookies each day! The breakfasts were huge and delicious-- don't expect to be hungry until dinner time!

Casa de la Cuma is a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I have stayed there several times in the past two years, and we love it! Colleen and Shaan are friendly and very helpful, and the inn itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful garden, patio area, and hot tub outside. We've stayed in several of the rooms, and we've been happy with all of them.

The B&B is a five minute walk from the heart of Santa Fe (the Plaza), so the location couldn't be better, but that five minute walk takes you from the hustle and bustle into a serene silence, where at night the stars are so bright and near that you can practically touch them, and in the mornings, the only consistent sounds are the many varieties of birds singing their beautiful songs.

This inn is a terrific place, year round -- my wife and I have tried several Santa Fe B&Bs, but this is our favorite, and it is the one that we keep coming back to, visit after visit.

Shaan and Colleen are the best! They truly welcomed us into their home. They shared great information about Santa Fe - fun things to do and a great map for restaurants their guests have recommended. We stayed in the Zapotec room which has the most comfortable bed and a private door to the patio and deck. We enjoyed watching the night sky from the double lounge on the deck - beautiful. Can't say enough about the breakfasts - oh so yummy - especially the stuffed french toast.

My husband and I booked our stay at the Casa de la Cuma after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. It was everything we heard it would be and more! Colleen and Shaan are fantastic hosts. We felt completely comfortable and at ease staying in their beautiful B&B. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful and we had a great time talking to the other guests about their travels and experiences as we ate outside on the patio. We stayed in the Chili Picker room as our first choice was already booked, but the room was very pleasant and comfortable. Everytying was top quality - fluffy bath towels, beach towels for the jacuzzi, robes in the closet and very comfortable sheets, pillows and bed covers.

I would highly recommend Casa de la Cuma. We hope to be able to visit again in the future!
