“Charming Place, Great Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Wyatt Earp room for 5 nights in March. It was so charming! We had a king sized bed, a flat-screen TV (not sure about which channels because we never turned it on), a refrigerator, microwave, a table and chairs and a small wardrobe. The bathroom had gorgeous tile and lots of storage space, and the shower was huge.

There was a small problem with our heater--it would turn off after a while, which was a bit unfortunate in NM in March. We told the desk about it, and they helped immediately by showing us how to reset it. They also offered to call a repairman, but we weren't that bothered by it, so we just took an extra blanket and burrowed in at night.

Breakfast was pretty good. Unfortunately, I have a gluten allergy, so my options were limited, but there was fruit and some cereal for me to choose from.

Everyone at the desk was so nice, too. They were all so interested in the guests and getting to know everyone, and they were full of suggestions for restaurants and bars.

The only negative (which is a bit of an overstatement) is that it's a good distance from downtown, and the cabs were on the expensive side, making it a little difficult to go out at night without having a DD.

Great little motel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.
We stayed in the Roy Rogers room. It was nice to have room to stretch out after a day of hiking.
Cannot beat the price and it includes breakfast. Definitely would stay again.

We have stayed a few times here and the price is probably the best in Santa Fe. It is not close to the plaza, so the rates are reasonable. It is on Cerrillos Road a major street and is about 10-15 minutes from the touristy plaza. The rooms are decorated nicely; definitely doesn't look like a chain (it isn't). Friendly people too.

This is truly a rare find. My wife and I were driving west and had stayed in more than ten motels and this was by far the best. It is very comfortable, clean and so unusual. It beats all the others for value. The young lady at the reception desk was so helpful about Santa Fe. I, highly, recommend it and we will be back again.

It's perfectly adequate and charming for the price. It beats any chain. Cute rooms, very clean, comfy beds. It's close to the bus stop. Decorated like a kitschy old west saloon. I'd stay here again. Santa Fe can be uptight and fussy, it's nice to find a place with real people and a laid back atmosphere.

We stayed in room 3, "the Willie Nelson Room". The rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and comfortable, each decorated in different style---all funky and different. The staff was helpful and informative. This is a good base for exploring Santa Fe.
