Our first time here. Decorated in authentic, tasteful SW decor. Spacious room clean, very good value. Wonderful NMexican restaurant next door. Staff most gracious and helpful. I asked for a different flavored tea in the room and was immediately furnished with several. A little farther from downtown but no big deal. IWill definitely stay here again!
If you have a car and don't need to stay in busy downtown Santa Fe, consider this quaint, lovely 1960's type hotel about five minutes away from downtown. The swimming pool is lovely, and never crowded. The rooms are immaculately clean. The trumpet vines around the swimming pool are buzzing with hummingbirds! And a good restaurant adjoins the premises. I've stayed here twice and loved every minute. It is very reasonably priced, and I just hope that this review doesn't fill up the Inn so I can't stay there in the future!
This place is on the edge of town and as such isnt a tourist trap.

We saved money by staying here and were able to book reservations in the fancy dinners down town.

We have stayed here before, and the arrangement is nice if you have a family. We reserved the Casita, because it offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a full kitchen and living room. This is nice when we have my daughter with us, so she can have her own room. We were happy to find some updates to the room since we were there a year ago. However, the beds had NOT been updated. They are only full sized beds... ok for one person, but a bit small for 2 good sized adults.... and they were NOT very comfortable. We were all sore and sleep deprived by the time we left. It is truly a great place, with a view that is AMAZING, but they really need to update the beds.
I originally chose the hotel due to its location south of Santa Fe and near the area of Eldorado. I was pleasantly surprised that the classic family style motel was extremely well kept up. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the gorgeous pinon tree and cholla covered hillside views. The layout of the room had a large main bedroom and a smaller dressing area, side room. All the furnishings were classic southwest. If you need to be in the center of Santa Fe this is not a convenient option. But if you want quiet, clean, comfortable accommodations this is perfect.
If you want a place that reminds you of the old route 66 motels..this is the place. off the fancy busy track, very quiet, clean and REASONABLE. which is saying a lot for santa fe!
cute too! a small pool that i had to myself. a good restaurant and friendly people. plus we could have our dog with us, no problem! we stayed there last august and are going back in december.
