We had SO much fun! What a beautiful outdoor museum with lots to see & do! We went for the annual Renaissance fair watched jousting, ate turkey legs & drank beer...Oh & the kids had fun too! Blowing bubbles, building fairy huts & even seeing a real live unicorn!!

“Living History”

Venue for the Santa Fe Wine Festival, as well as other specially featured weekend events. But an interesting way to learn New Mexico history even without a special event.

“A great place for families.”

What a treat was it to explore a place that time forgot. Tanning, blacksmiths, tin work, adobe making.... the kids had a great time. A real treat for the family.

“Sort of an Hispano Williamsburg”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

Kind of interesting especially to those who are not from the area. Take Agua Fria street, THE Camino Real for a several mile trip to the area. The drive kind of gives you the flavor of rural northern New Mexico by itself. They usually have something going on at Golondrinas.

“history alive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2012

This historic ranch is kept up as a living museum. Special events are great here, but the day-to-day operation is only good, not special. If you want to see it at its best, comve for the wine festival or one of the historic ocasion recreations.
