Owner description: Canyon Road is Santa Fe's historic arts district. Home to over eighty art galleries, as well as boutiques, restaurants, and historic adobe homes, it is the cultural center of Santa Fe. The galleries on Canyon Road show everything from traditional southwestern Pueblo pottery and quintessential Western art to contemporary abstraction and computer and digital art. Take time to explore; there's a little something for everyone here.

“Odd”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

I had heard so much about this area of Sante Fe and really had no idea what to expect. WOW what a surprise I was in store for.....gallery after gallery of what I guess they call "Art." If you have a big check book and a desire for bronzed life size flying pigs (because I feel certain the artist must have thought they were real,) mystical paintings of fairies, dragons, and hallucination art, then this is the place for you.

“Galleries and Shops Galore!”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The number and quality of artist's shops and galleries is mind-boggling. Make time to visit as many as possible, and treat yourself to handmade boots at Desert Sun. If you can make it out of the store with just boots, you have great self control!

“Scenic drive”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

We drove down Canyon Road while on a tour. There were lots of great galleries. Many great sites to see as you drive along. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we could not walk down and visit many of the galleries.

“So Much to See, So Little Time”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

This is a must, even if you're not looking for anything in particular. So many galleries with so much diversity. Loves the yard art sculptures.

“Lovely homes”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

It is always a pleasant way to get to see some of the l homes. I am always amazed at the buildings, each one more beautiful than the other. In most places in New Mexico the zoning is too strange, expensive homes right next to a trailer or dilapidated home or shed
