Owner description: Canyon Road is Santa Fe's historic arts district. Home to over eighty art galleries, as well as boutiques, restaurants, and historic adobe homes, it is the cultural center of Santa Fe. The galleries on Canyon Road show everything from traditional southwestern Pueblo pottery and quintessential Western art to contemporary abstraction and computer and digital art. Take time to explore; there's a little something for everyone here.

“Fantastic display of public art”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

I have traveled widely in the U.S. and have not seen so many outdoor statues/ The claim is that SF is the third largest art gallery city in the country. What are the others? NYC and LA?

“Great art!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Loved strolling from one art gallery to another! So much to see!!
Also, some wonderful restaurants to stop in for a bite to eat. Some of the food and arts was more than we could afford, but still nice to look at!

“Arts and crafts”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

This is the main drag for all of the arts and crafts stores. It is several blocks long and can take a very long day to see if you like to wonder into every shop.

“A real Shopping Experience”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

We parked at the top of the road and walked down. There is a shuttle bus that will take you back to the top. Also there are 3 restaurants a fabulous clothing store and quite a selection of fine and interesting galleries as you walk down. We found the prices and selection to be more reasonable than downtown.

“So Many Great Galleries!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Love Canyon Road in Santa Fe! There are so many great galleries and shops, even cute little restaurants. This is the reason so many people travel here. It's a great artist community.
