Owner description: Canyon Road is Santa Fe's historic arts district. Home to over eighty art galleries, as well as boutiques, restaurants, and historic adobe homes, it is the cultural center of Santa Fe. The galleries on Canyon Road show everything from traditional southwestern Pueblo pottery and quintessential Western art to contemporary abstraction and computer and digital art. Take time to explore; there's a little something for everyone here.

“don't visit too many gallaries”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

If you have a few days in Santa Fe..
Do only a couple of Gallaries at a time or you get art overload.
Remember its very expensive, however, the quality is 2nd to none. Stop for coffee/lunch at the Teahouse - take you time

“Loved the live art exhibits”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

The "live art" displayed along the Canyon Roadgalleries was a nice touch. We especially enjoyed the iron works and granite fountain art, especially as the cold night temperatures caused the water to freeze and create a secondary art of the melting ice. Two sculptures, thanks to Mother Nature!

“Oh my, the metal art!!!”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

I was on a tour so I didn't get out but most of the galleries had huge metal sculptures out side. I wish I had more time there.

“Art Lover's Paradise”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

This street is magnificent! If you're an art lover (or know one), you must visit Canyon Road. You won't leave without a sculpture, a painting, a photograph, or in depth knowledge of the Santa Fe art scene.
