We came to Santa Fe to meet with family & friends to celebrate husband's 50th Birthday. There were 12 of us, 8 of which stayed at the Inn, the other 4 at La Fonda. Both hotels were nice, but the Inn was exactly what you would hope from a small boutique hotel - fabulous!
It does not have a pool/spa or gym BUT what it does have makes up for all of that. The hotel staff is helpful, courteous and seem to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Turn down service with fresh baked cookies are great, and we very much appreciated the bottle water that was always provided as well as the humidifier in the room. They even provide you with umbrellas should it rain and you be caught without one.
The beds are to die for, and make getting up in the mornings difficult - you have to decide on an amazing day in Santa Fe or snuggling back in for a few more hours of heavenly sleep.
The only negative is that if you are a light sleeper (and you stay on the south side of the hotel near or above the alley) you may hear the trash trucks in the wee hours of the morning.
PS Don' t miss eating at the Shed - one dish especially: Chicken enchilada verde - yum yum!More
