We stayed here for the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon. The location was absolutely perfect. Check in was very fast. The staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable. We found that the room service was some of the best tasting food we've had in a hotel!

This is our second time at the Buffalo Thunder, it seems the quality went down. Beautiful hotel but it seems that the employees do not enjoy working here, besides at check in and the bartender at the pool bar, nobody was pleasant, just ok. Our room was not cleaned when we arrived back late, we had to call to have it cleaned.
The casino is great, spacious and the dealers at the kraps table were very helpful and entertaining. The club has two rooms, one that plays Mexican music and the other played top 40 which was very fun and we went from room to room.
Would recommend to stay since it is better priced however go in knowing you won't receive exceptional customer service.

We really enjoyed the hotel/casino experience. We were greeted by friendly staff (Jeremy and Sarah at the front desk were great and helpful) players club lady was rude and uninformed. Overall nice stay. Golf course was in bad shape. Many areas flooded and greens dry with lots of dirt patches. Fairways had lots of ground under repair and fertilizer.

I had a mixed experience at this Hilton, both pluses and neutrals.

The bell cap staff were uniformly helpful and fast - and always around, warchful to help customers without seeming to be completely tip driven.

The front desk staff were also quite positive. The evening check in was seriously understaffed. Fortunately I had used the digital check in and opted against waiting in a long line, and just asked the bell cap my questions about where things were located. Saved easily 20 minutes.

- the lobby was tastefully done - a nice Santa Fe feel. Plenty of comfy chairs.

- The room was clean, comfortable, and it was obvious where everything was.

- Recent food sensitivity development meant that I couldn't eat normal meals - and that was a problem. The little starbucks sells kind bars for twixe what they cost me in stores, and iverpriced fruit - and that was the only thing a gluten-sensitice dairy-sensitive person could find quickly as grqb-and-go. The starbucks closed early too.

- We had a pre selected menu for our biz dinner..The staff kindly gave me a nowl of vegetables since everything else had either gluten or dairy. I appreciated the quick substitution. It does look like a hard place for a vegan or others with food allergies to eat, though.
