We arrived aprox 1:20am, in the rain. There was no one in the front desk and we could not get in. I pushed the bell and called on the telephone for over 5 minutes before someone finally shows up.
Our room was generally clean, the shower was very creaky. One pillow had blood stains on it. Gross! And there was a coffee pot in the room, however there was no coffee.
Breakfast consisted of 2 kinds of cold cereal, white bread and a toaster. No fruit, no bagels, no oatmeal, no danish and the Juice machine did not work.
Very very poor. There are lots of options for hotels in this area. pick somewhere other that the super 8!

We stayed at the Super 8 two days ago. Nice hotel and the staff was great- even gave us some ice cream as someone there was celebrating a birthday. As there are smoking rooms on most floors, my wife and I got a room far from them and from the front desk. As a result, couldn't get Internet in our room. At 11 pm, I went down to the lobby to use their Internet. Sat in the lobby for almost an hour, not knowing there were people lurking outside. The front desk clerk told me she was going outside for a smoke. A few minutes later, she ran back in, screaming. There was blood running down her hands. "Help me!" she screamed. "How can I help you?" I asked. "Call 911." I ran to my room and did just that. Turns out she had turned away some local girls, who now were getting revenge. I do not blame the clerk or the hotel, and don't think Super 8 is any less safe than any other hotel (or then Garrett's Desert Inn, which is within walking distance of the plaza and where I went the next day and got a nice $79 weekday special rate). But do want to want you against hanging around in the lobby like I did late at night. The girls could have just as easily invaded the lobby and stabbed me too.

We stayed here during a friend's wedding. The hotel is small and old, but it's clean and they keep it up. Breakfast comes with the room and the staff is friendly. The price is competitive with small hotels in this area of town, and since Santa Fe is small, it's worth it to stay here and drive into the square for shopping, etc. Parking lot is well lit.

I stayed here with my husband and we found this to be great value.

Its not the Hilton, and the room was a little on the small size, but for the price we paid we were very happy with it. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and the shower was very good. There was a good iron and hairdryer, and wireless internet. The self service breakfast in the lobby was reasonable.

It was about a 10 minute drive into Santa Fe so we were quite happy with the location, although if you didn't have a car and wanted to explore Santa Fe you'd be better off staying closer into downtown.

Overall this was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again

The place is not the most glamorous, newest, or whatever, but it’s clean, affordable, quiet, in good location. The room is good size (we had king bed) with recliner; the bathroom on the other hand is tiny. TV channel selection is good as well (over 70 channels). The breakfast is below average, but you can survive on it for couple of days. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have Wi-Fi in the room or if you do not have your own laptop, there is a PC in the lobby. Plenty of restaurants / shopping nearby, you can even walk to the mall if you wish.

We stayed for 3 days and the first couple of days we almost had the place to ourselves. The remaining guests were mostly retired couples, which was nice.

I have stayed here once before and will stay again (did I mention this place is quiet). You can’t beat it for the price and convenience. Plus I like places where I know what to expect.

Stayed here for two nights in October. The room was clean(with a couple of nice southwest touches),the continential breakfast good(not a big variety, though),and good rates for Santa Fe ($53 a night).About a 15 minute drive to the Plaza(way too far to walk).
