“possible electric troubles............................”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

didn't care for three things hooked up to one feeder in the wall of my room, the feeder plug was quite lose, and so was the wall plate! In my opinion, this could cause a fire at some point, maybe causing serious or total building loss... These older hotels never seem to have enough wall plug ins so rather than to get new plugs put in they use these feeder plugs and in this case had 3 different items plugged in ti one wall outlet! Spend some money, you make enough on the rooms to afford to bring the motel up to code, in fact I can't believe this place is correct in electrical code and i should write someone there about this! It's a fire hazard waiting to happen!

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and pointing our some issues.
Some of our rooms lack on electrical plugs, that's why we have to use extension adapters. We've been proactive and looking at alternatives to this issue. You bring up valid points and we appreciate your input.

Thank you so much for having stayed with us and reviewing our hotel.

For a Super 8 this was really nice. Great value and the rooms were clean. There is wifi in the lobby and in the rooms (at least our room) and the morning breakfast was simple and yummy. The kids found all the foods they wanted to eat.

Now for the other guy in the lobby, he was so angry because his passenger window was smashed in!!!!! I feel super bad because that's not what you expect ever. I DID see fingerprints along my door handles which creeped me out. Luckily I took everything inside.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and our breakfast.

What happened to our guest was very unfortunate. That is why we're taking higher measures for security. Now we have camera surveillance throughout the parking lot 24 hours and security patrolling the property at night. We hope that by taking these steps our guests will feel safer.

Again, thank you so much for reviewing our hotel. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Santa Fe.

This motel is several miles in from I-25 on Cerrillos Road. It is inexpensive. I got a good price ($45 plus tax) on booking.com. It is a bit hard to find at night because it is placed so the short side of the hotel faces the road. One might miss the entrance. This was an overnight on a trip and served the purpose very well. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are all together. There were enough tables for breakfast. There were just two dry cereals (raisin bran and one other) for breakfast. There were waffles, biscuits and gravy, reg and decaf coffee, yogurt, toast, etc. There was no fruit till the end when they brought out little cups of canned fruit cocktail. I think the building might have been built in two stages. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor, but if one wants to go to a room in the part of the building nearest the road, one has to go up a ramp after exiting the elevator. This is OK, but it is a little hard to push (and pull) a full luggage trolley up that ramp -- it took 2 of us. And, of course, you don't want to let go of a full luggage trolley on your way to checking out -- the ramp is just that steep. So perhaps if you don't want to bother with that, you should ask for a room in the back half of the building. The lobby is open to the 2nd floor and they have added a few nice southwest touches, like small paintings/murals on the walls in the upstairs hall, and a nice metal cutout over the light in the bathroom. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room. All-in-all it was quite adequate and the price was right. There was plenty of parking in the back. The internet worked.

Room Tip: If you don't want to push a luggage trolley up a rather steep ramp to get to your room, ask for...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate you staying with us. We usually have fresh apples or oranges, but when we run out of both we put out fruit cocktails. We're glad you enjoyed our new murals we have in the hallways and our southwest decor. The ramp we have on the second floor is steep, so your recommendation is accurate for future guests.

Thank you so much again for having stayed with us, we hope to see you again on your next trip to Santa Fe.

We read reviews from others so my husband and I booked a king size suite and we were very glad we did. We had plenty of room. The TV's need to be updated as they are very old - no flat screen. It was difficult to watch TV in bed due to the location of the TV in the room. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was better than a lot of Super 8's we have stayed at. The location of the motel is good for restaurants, shopping, etc. It's a good value for the money we spent.

Pleasantly surprised at the amenities and cleanliness of this reasonably priced hotel in an often unreasonably priced city. Large room with very comfy bed, Direct TV, free in-room wifi, mini-fridge, coffee maker, iron, etc. Cleanliness is top-notch, without that strange smell you often get at a cheaper place. I've had better free breakfasts, but for the room price, it's a good value. I barely notice a difference between this Super 8 and Marriott hotels I've stayed at.

Room Tip: There is an elevator, but rooms on the west side of the building will require you to use a ramp whic...
