The Vacation Rental called The Sage House was comfy, charming, & clean. Very convenient to shopping & dining. Dave was wonderful during our 5 day stay. Internet hookup was a plus for me. All 5 of us give this property a 10!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the AdobeStar Inn; I have no words to describe how wonderful our stay was. Our weeklong stay in Santa Fe centered on the comfort and wonderful hospitality of the AdobeStar Inn with its convenient walking distance to everything in the Plaza area.

The Innkeeper, Dave, is a friendly, energetic and generous person who obviously enjoys and knows what he is doing. Dave was very helpful with our tourist questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Santa Fe, Taos and Albuquerque area. When we needed dinner recommendations, or places to see during the day, he always had the right answer. What was so special was before he gave any recommendations, he listened to what our interest were and then perfectly matched them.

We stayed in the Chimayo room and just loved it. It was wonderful, quaint, private and very comfortable with furniture, fabrics, artwork, decor, which were beautiful! We lit a fire in the fireplace that roared for hours.

The breakfast was to-die-for! Each day, the breakfast was a work of art, with an array of healthy, Santa Fe themed home-cooked dishes, fruits and breads. A fantastic way to start the day!

We really enjoyed our stay and when we come back, we will be staying at the AdobeStar Inn.

AdobeStar’s wonderful hospitality during my visit to Santa Fe last week made it a "10". It certainly lived up to my expectations, primarily because of Dave's guidance and suggestions as to what to see & where to visit, his wonderful cooking, and the restful accommodations. So, even though he's a card-carrying Republican, I’d give my experience a “10” and recommend the Star to others.

A very comfortable B&B withing walking distance to the Town Plaza. Great location, Southwest atmosphere, food and knowledgeable host who is willing to share his love of the area. Because of his sightseeing recommendations, we decided to spend an extra day at the Inn. We will highly recommend the Adobe Star Inn to all our friends.

The Adobe Star Inn is a delightfully welcoming and charming spot in Santa Fe. Walking distance to everything in the Plaza area, it is tucked away in an old residential area of Santa Fe. Inn keeper Dave is an outgoing and generous person who obviously enjoys what he is doing. He and his staff went the extra mile for us in so many ways. Breakfast was exceptional and Dave is redoing all the rooms to reflect the many faces of the area and obviously has an eye for the unique...not just the obvious. A pleasant haven to return to after exploring Santa Fe's many haunts. Sic and san and attention to detail is much more evident here than in its companion B&B Adobe Abode. We will return. Thanks Dave.

Don't bother staying here. Cramped room. The host has no idea how to be gracious and cordial. While he was cooking breakfast, overheard a story being told by guests in the dining area and came in just to interrupt to tell us his story. Really rude. Leaves a lot to be desired.

Also don't count on sleeping in. Clanking and clattering of pots and pans, creeking wood floors kept us up. We will never go back.

No tv, no phone, no "privacy" sign for door if wanted. No way to control heat or cold in room. You are at the mercy of the non-present owner.

I'd rather stay in a cheap hotel where I know I can get some extra shut-eye and can have some privacy if needed. Luxury? Non-existant. Confusing and unsecure way to check in. Confusing names on website and at physical address due to name change.

Way overpriced for what you get!

My daughter and I just returned from 5 glorious days at Spencer House in Santa Fe, NM. Our room was warm and cozy with a decore of cowboys and the southwest. The bathtub had Jacuzi jets and the shower was powerful...always a plus. We had a gas fireplace which lit up quickly and provided a welcome warmth on a chilly morning.

The best, though, was the warm hospitality of Dave Mansure, owner and cook. He greeted us each morning with fresh coffee and orange juice. He cooked a delicious breafast flavored with the southwest and garnished with freshly cut fruit and home baked breads. We met frienly folks from all over the country who were willing to share their travel suggestions. Dave Mansure gave us maps and brochures to every part of the area and told us about other treasures to see.

The bed and breakfast is just a 5 minute walk to the center plaza and many of Santa Fe's top sites. After we walked all over the city and then back home we were treated to some of Dave's homemade brownies and ginger snaps. The little fridge in the dining room was filled with cold drinks for us too.

I'm looking forward to returning soon to Spencer House with my husband. I want him to experience the warmth and comfort that Dave provides for his guests.
