I was staying at my sister's in Santa Fe to help her with her needs while sick when I came down with a horribloe cold myself, and had to move out so she wouldn't get the cold. I first went to the Hotel Santa Fe, nice but more expensive, and did what my daughter did, moved to the Santa Fe Motel and Inn nearby, which I liked much more. It is small, has a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, a nice breakfast of eggs and cereal that goes with the room, and best of all, while I was too sick to get up and eat, they brought my food to my first floor room.
This is the place where I would tell anyone visiting Santa Fe to stay. I don't remember the exact price, since it was a year ago, but I thought it was incredibly reasonable. Also it is very aesthetic looking, not at all with the atmosphere of a motel, and has charming casitas for rent too.
I sort of hate telling people aboutr this find, but I also think a place as nice as this should get the recommendation it deserves.
