This is a traditional type motel really close to the Plaza and centre of Santa Fe. There are also some casitas which looked very nice. We stayed for three nights 19-21 June and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them and they make you feel really welcome.
There are several places to sit out in the pleasant grounds and there is free parking. We had a second floor room which was very pleasant. It had a large bathroom area but, given the extreme heat whilst we were there, a kitchenette with a fridge may have been a better choice!
We were also very impressed with the free breakfast which is served in a lovely courtyard. The range and quality of the food is quite exceptional and the lady in charge is delightful and keeps everything well topped up, fresh and inviting and all with such good humour.
There are several good restaurants just minutes from the door. We particularly liked 'Cowgirls' where we enjoyed the food, service, live band and dancing on the outside terrace.
I recommend this motel, it is a very good place to stay if you want to be close to all the action without paying the earth.
