The Inn on the Alameda is quiet and elegant, with a great location midway between the Plaza and Canyon Road. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very clean, as are the lobby and other public areas. The continental breakfast, which is included, is substantial, varied, and delicious, and the complimentary wine and hors-d'oeuvres in the afternoon are a nice treat. Parking is ample and free, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it was lovely to be welcomed by the Inn's owner and his dignified standard poodle. Of the five hotels we've stayed in during our many vists to Santa Fe (La Fonda, The Inn at Loretto, La Posada, El Corazon de Santa Fe), The Inn on the Alameda is our favorite.

Santa Fe was "calling" me. I booked everything on-line for our Sister-Trip. I wanted to stay at a place with charm, but not a B & B. The Innn on Alameda was perfect. Ambiance, perfect location, and added perks. We loved the Wine & Cheese hour everyday at 4 PM. So nice to relax and visit after a day of exploring the charming town. Breakfast was nice as well. I didn't see another place in Santa Fe that I would prefer to stay. I will be back.

I was just on Tripadvisor looking for a hotel in another city, and I thought, "I wish I could find one just like Inn on the Alameda". It has a southwest character & is quiet & peaceful and in a wonderful convenient location. It is a little more expensive than I usually pay for a hotel, but I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for a visit to Santa Fe.
It has LOCATION: walk to Canyon Rd, walk to center plaza and to all restaurants. It is quiet but yet with the amenities one needs. It has no restaurant but yet is close to all Santa Fe restaurants and then one can have a lovely stroll home in moonlight to this quiet adobe hotel
24 hour coffee is available, many rooms have balconies to view sunrise , moonlight and flowers.
Efficient housekeeping with plenty of ice available. No minibar however
Breakfast is included and really is extremely good: with a good buffet, with great fresh fruit, delicious frittata and fresh fresh croissants ( I watched each morning as they were delivered). How pleasant to sit outside in the quiet courtyard to breakfast, when back East was suffering high temps and humidity.
Free parking , internet and extremely comfortable beds, made this a wonderful stay for 5 nights.
It is a hotel where one may be picked up to go to the opera: very convenient.
What a wonderful experience : can't wait to go back in winter.

Check in was proactively helpful, efficient and friendly. This good first impression continued when I saw my room. Pretty, comfortable, well designed and furnished. The only thing missing was a room safe. The PC had free but slow internet access. Breakfast was the by far the best I had in a 3 week trip - great choice, fresh food, pleasant environment. Not cheap at £157 per night but this was Santa Fe in peak summer season.
