Just spent a week at the Inn on the Alameda and couldn't have picked a better place. Friends recommended it and it was awesome. Walking distance from Plaza, easy access, and our casita was a very nice suite to stay in. Afternoon wine hour was always good and we met other travelers. Dining recommendations were always good and staff was outstanding in service.

My husband and I just checked in a few hours ago. First we were exhausted because we drove in from the Grand Canyon and it was late. The hotel we planned to stay turned out to be not acceptable so we called The Inn on the Alameda. The rate on the phone was better than Expedia ( I checked on line beforehand) and the gentleman at the desk, Jose, was extremely helpful . He helped us order a great pizza and made sure it was delivered to our room. He also offered and gave my husband a fresh cup of delicious coffee.
Then we were able to park right in front of our first floor room ( great because we had a lot of stuff in our car from traveling.- and it was free ) And our room has all the ambience and charm of old Santa Fe ! The Inn is right next to Canyon Road with all the art galleries and so easy to walk to the center.
Thank you, Inn on the Alameda!!! We are staying longer here because it's so great!

We stayed at the Inn on the Alameda for two nights after several days of non-stop travel and thoroughly enjoyed the our quiet, very comfortable room and the helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast is a buffet and, while not extensive, has a pleasant variety (quiches, frittatas, ham, pastries, fruits, juices) and is served in a lovely setting. Our room was attractive, spotless with complimentary robles. The location is great, a couple of blocks from the center, yet just off the beaten path to avoid traffic noise. We had great dinners at both of the nearby restaurants that were recommended by the staff -- Ze French Bistro and Mucho Gusto.

I stayed at the Inn during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend with some girlfriends. It is a wonderful hotel/B&B! It is centrally located-within walking distance to most stuff in town, especially the art galleries, which are across the street. The staff are very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations--especially Duane! They serve a very scrumptous breakfast, with tons of variety. On the weekends they add a nice meat or fish...we had an incredible chipotle encrusted salmon! The rooms are cozy and well appointed. In the afternoon, they serve wine and cheese for guests in their cozy living room off the lobby. This is a great value for the price!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Well maintained facility that has a cozy and warm atmosphere. Breakfast is healthy and scrumptious. 5 minute walk to the plaza where there is lots of shopping and restaurants. If we travel to Santa Fe again we will definitely stay here.
