Have been traveling to Santa Fe for 17+ years for fun & business; with family, with spouse, with friends.
Have stayed at 8- 10 hotels/condo, etc. over the years.
This is a favorite! There have been times it has been booked and stay somewhere else and miss:
the friendliness, hominess, roomy rooms, balconies, gardens, free parking, fantastic breakfasts and wine reception in the afternoon and great prices.
Perfect for walking to Canyon Road and the Plaza for shopping & restaurants and for heading out for an exercise walk or run down Alameda & Canyon Road.
There was an occasion when we had to leave another hotel due to lack of air conditioning ( one of our group had a medical conditon and had to have a/c) & Inn on the Alameda accommodated us with politeness, and ease all at the last minute.

We stay at the Inn every year because of he location and wonderful staff and amenities. We were so pleasantly surprised to find that they have not cut any of their amenities in this economy but continue to go the extra mile to provide superior customer service.

We received a call at home from the general manager the day before our arrival asking if we would like an upgrade to a suite. The staff at the Inn from the housekeepers to upper management go out of their way to assist guests and to make sure they are comfortable. This is the best deal in Santa Fe. My only concern is that they will be so popular that I will not be able to get a room one of these years.

Husband and I had never traveled to Santa Fe so I reseached the many accommodations carefully. Inn on the Alameda was consistently rated as excellent. We were more than pleased with the friendly staff, delicious breakfast (especially the pastries), wine and tasty snacks in the pm, clean, comfortable rooms. After a busy day of walking, visiting the many shops or touring the beautiful countryside, the spa eased or tired bodies. One of the best hotel experiences we've had. Will return and highly recommend this jewel to my friends! P.S. go on a walking tour when you first arrive to get a feel for the town.

Booked based on Tripadvisor reviews. The room was immacualate, the service above impeccable, the staff extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The Inn is located between the Plaza and Canyon Road and a very short drive to Museum Hill. We even changed a planned overnight excursion to a day trip so we could spend an extra night here...in going on 40 years of travel have never done that before The Inn is a wonderful hybrid of small hotel and bed and breakfast-an intimate feel with some amenities you would expect at larger properties. The rates are reasonable for the location and when you add in the large breakfast offerings, it actually comes as close to a bargain as you will find in Santa Fe. Unequivocally recommended.

This place is hard to find... I passed it 2 times. It is worth the search. What a great experience! The room was small but comfortable and clean as a pin. The front desk made restaurant reservations for us at Luminaries, and all staff members were excellent. We stayed 3 nights and will plan another stay. The 4 pm "happy hour" was excellent with complimentary wine & beer and a buffet. We met nice folks and shared traveling laughs. Don't miss this small hotel with valuable parking and great location to shops! There is no restaurant, but the catered breakfast is outstanding.

Put the in laws up here while they were visiting and they loved it. With the included breakfast, nightly wine and cheese reception and central location it is a great value.
We frequently use the Inn as our 'guest room' and have all ways been happy with the experience. Here is a quote from the old man "We had the bestest time out West this last week. My favorite daughter.. and the only one I know of... put us up in the pent house suite for 5 days ... had our own Kiva fireplace, sitting room, large balcony deck and oh so much more. The bed was so big I had to phone the Missus on the Telly to see if she was still there."
Well there ya have it.

From greeting to goodbye, our stay here was perfect. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was excellent. We stayed in Room 34, which had a private entrance with patio area, kiva fireplace, very comfortable king bed and large bath. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the wine and cheese reception was a perfect afternoon break and we had one of the two hot tubs to ourselves every night! Small gym & guest library with computer were an added bonus. Short (5 minute) walk to the plaza. Can't wait to go back!
