“Very Nice Facility Convenient to Santa Fe Sights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed our visit to Santa Fe. It is a block from the Canyon Street Art Galleries, and about 2 blocks to the center of town where lots of the museums and attractions are. The room we got was a casita, so it was a bit pricey, but quiet and comfy, with lots of room and a small "kiva" fireplace. The bulidings are adobe, so they keep in the warmth and cool air based on your needs. Diana greeted us when we arrived, and she was very helpful, as was Justin, who offered to help us with our luggage. The breakfast was tasty with many options. My main suggestion would be for them to offer their complimentary wine & cheese for longer than 4 to 5 p.m., when most of us are sight seeing...thus we never were able to take advantage of this. Parking was included in the price, and it was convenient to our casita. There was plenty of firewood and starter packets, so we enjoyed a cozy fire each evening. It was a great location to get a taste of Santa Fe.

We really enjoyed our stay. It it a very convenient location. The rooms are beautiful. Easy to access and easy to use all the facilities. Breakfast was amazing everything so fresh, staff very friendly, nice selection of items that were prepared and presented appealing. We were lucky to experience A pre-opening dinner. It was very delicious. A freshly prepared selection of cheese boards, panni sandwiches really delicious. The wine and cheese hour with "Charlie" was a highlight , he is so sweet, remembered our name, very knowledgeable about the area, the art, the wine, the hotel, etc. he was a highlight of our stay. We met six lovely women a visiting from various US cities to work for Habitat for Humanity, they were inspirational and contributed to our total enjoyment.

Truly wonderful staff - from the front desk helping us with places to eat, places to hike and general directions, to the kitchen staff offering wondeful food and a welcoming smile, I just can't recommend this spot enough. The location is perfect, the rooms lovely and we felt completely welcomed. We missed the happy hour both days we stayed, but seeing other reviews, we'll have to try to make sure we attend next time we are in the area. This is a hotel that obviously goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks for a great stay.

First time stay. Great reception from Diane, who was determined to answer any and all questions.
Had a casita with fireplace, which added to the charm. As others have noted, this place does not hold back on the wine and cheese in late afternoon, and the breakfasts are so good there is little reason to wander downtown to Tia Sofia's, a local hangout that serves the best non-gringo breakfast I have ever had. Ditto the high marks for Dustin at The Inn. I asked him a simple question, and he sat down with us at breakfast and gave us suggestions of things to do that were spot on. Wife lost a favorite ear-ring, and they found it and called us.
We will go back, hopefully again and again. I did suggest that they switch the couch and TV so you could look at the fireplace.

Room Tip: Pay the extra freight and get a casita with a fireplace.

We were welcomed to the hotel at happy hour by a smiling Charlie and a complimentary glass of wine and the warmth of the Kiva fireplace. This kind of attentive personal service continued throughout our visit. Manager Jonathon, chefs Jordan and Eric, the front desk staff the efficient housekeeping team and of course Charlie the barman were all eager to make your Santa Fe experience exceptional.
The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and the daily happy hour is welcome after a day of exploring the galleries and boutiques of the Plaza and Canyon Road, all within easy walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do. The galleries were walking distance, the square is very nearby as well. The service here is excellent. Charlie heads up the 4:00 happy hour with wines, cheeses and sangria. He's wonderful to talk to and makes sure you are enjoying yourself. The front desk staff is also incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast sets you up for a full day of touring.

The room was a bit dated, but very comfortable. Fluffy towels, thick robes, soft sheets and great water pressure. The service, comfort and location more than make up for the gold-colored bathroom fixtures. 8)

We can never stay anywhere else. The rooms are always exceptionally pleasant, but the evening wine reception and the morning breakfast make this hotel a must for us when we're in Santa Fe.
It is located only a block from Canyon Road art galleries, and only a couple of blocks off downtown Santa Fe.
