We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe for one night during a mini road-trip around northern New Mexico. I booked the room using Expedia, and I suspect that we got one of the worse rooms as a result. The room was small and the French doors to the small deck didn't do much to muffle the road noise, but neither bothered us.
The town largely closes up shop at 9 p.m., so the road noise was nonexistent by the time we went to sleep.
The lobby is definitely worth a look. A large kiva-style fireplace is the centerpiece, with several large sofas and a gigantic coffee table. We enjoyed a few drinks from the bar while relaxing in front of the fire.
