For a fairly last-minute trip, this was one of the few places with rooms available, likely because it is a fairly large property. This has benefits such as the pool (with plenty of poolside ice water), on-site concierge, quality free tea, and abundance of parking. The staff was also consistently kind and helpful, but did not intrude when we wanted privacy.

We were in a regular non-Hacienda room and were pleased with the size, as it included a small living area with minibar refrigerator (which the staff said was fine to empty so we could keep our own items in it), sofa, and coffee table, as well as king-size bed. (One odd thing was that there was no light over the shower so it was hard to both see in the shower and close the curtain enough to keep the bathroom dry.)

For fans of fresh fruits & vegetables, location is extremely convenient to Farmers' Market, Whole Foods, and Vinaigrette salad restaurant. It also easy to reach other places in town. Note that you don't need to try to park near your room when you first arrive to unload and are disoriented - you can access the central elevators from all directions.

This was my fifth time staying at this property, and my third time staying in the Hacienda part of the property. I had booked a Hacienda King room, but received an upgrade to the Corn Mountain suite. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a fireplace, balcony, and separate sitting and bedroom areas. I had not interacted much with the butlers on previous visits, but Lubo was totally friendly and helpful this time around. I love their complimentary happy hour in the lounge everyday and breakfast in the morning. Overall, this was an awesome stay, and we even had an actor from an upcoming Seth McFarlane movie staying across the hall from us.

We try to take care of our repeat guests with little extras when possible and I am delighted to learn you enjoyed your suite at The Hacienda - albeit with a touch of Hollywood! I hope your 6th visit will be soon!!

The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food and service were excellent. The decor was pure Southwest, with original Native American artifacts, pottery, sculptures, and art tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. We had no time to use the Spa. There is a free shuttle which runs throughout old Sante Fe throughout the day. Our room was large with gas fireplace, large bathroom, and tastefully decorated--and extremely quiet. The hotel is away from the traffic and crowds near the Plaza, Cathedral, and Palace--but close enough to walk if you desired. Many restaurants are close, though the food at the hotel was excellent you might not want to. The have a nice gift shop with Southwest art and jewelry--appropriately priced. We travel extensively, and we both believe this is in the top 1-3 places we have ever stayed.

Room Tip: The rooms in the Hacienda are much more private and quiet; the ambience amazing.

I adored this hotel as it had Native American heart; including the decor, ambience, food and weekend music/entertainment. Although this hotel is 12 minutes walk from the main plaza, their few shuttle service takes you where you want to go and picks you up. I highly recommend this hotel to ensure an authentic and enjoyable experience in Santa Fe.

We stayed in a Hacienda room. The rate included a continental breakfast, free WiFi and a beer/wine/snacks happy hour. Lubo, our butler, was excellent. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We did need more space for our clothes, and the view was of the street, but we were outdoors most of the time in Santa Fe. The staff at the Hotel Santa Fe were very helpful and courteous. We had a car so we were 5 minutes driving distance to Canyon Rd, the Plaza, museums and restaurants. Never had a problem parking at the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here in a Hacienda room.

Your recommendation is gratefully received! Lubo has been with us for many years and I am so pleased to learn he took good care of you. Please try our London Taxi service next time?!
