“LUMINARIA - In "The Inn @ Loretto" = Memorable : )!”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

While Walking Around The Historic Area of Santa Fe, We Visited The Loretto Chapel, Then Decided To Lunch At The LUMINARIA Restaurant At The Beautiful, Pueblo-Style "Inn @ Loretto", Immediately Behind, & Overlooking The Gardens of The Chapel. The Airy Atmosphere, Gracious Service, & Food Were All Excellent. The Wait Staff Was At The Top of Their Game - Always There To Do Their Jobs Without Hovering. It Gave Our Soles A Rest, As Well As Our Souls. Highly Recommended!

“Outstanding Food!”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

We were in Santa Fe during Restaurant Week and had dinner at Luminaria. My seared tuna over green chile cheese grits was delicious. My husband had a wonderful pasta entree. Service was excellent and seating facilitates quiet conversations. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Santa Fe. We were guests of the hotel, so we had dinner one night in the lobby bar, The Living Room. Food is prepared in the Luninaria kitchen, so it's good, too. Try the tortilla soup!

“Excellent!”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

We started with a refreshing bottle of French white wine, a Chateau Ducasse Bordeaux. I decided to have the pulled pork spring roll with a chipoltle aioli and a fresh jicama slaw. I truly enjoyed this masterpiece . Pulled pork is one of my favorites. I swear I could taste the barbeque sauce in that roll. My wife had the mozzarella salad with shaved carrots, shallots, pumpkin seed, and cheromula.
We both had the blackened tuna with green chili grits with tomato and olive salsa. The tuna was an incredible piece of fish. It was amazing. It was fresh and tasty. I am always amazed when I get excellent quality fish in the desert. The blackening spices did not overtake the fish which sometimes happens. What can you say about green chili grits. These were made with milk/ and or chicken stock and had enough green chili to be well balanced. Bravo! Sometimes grits are made with water. Not here.
For dessert we had the double chocolate brownie. It was layers of chocolate rice crispies topped with rich double chocolate brownie. It was all the chocolate taste but less of the chocolate guilt. It was actually light. Our wait person was helpful and very knowledgeable about the wines. We will come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

“Great breakfast & staff”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

Stayed here twice but first time in the restaurant. I will return. Ordered the full American breakfast, although it came with everything, a bit pricey. They allowed me to basically build my own since I wanted neither juice coffee or toast. That's service in my book!!!
I was allowed to sub a blue corn pancake and it was superb--period. Eggs etc were prepared to perfection.
Try this place for breakfast & splurge on price--it's worth it.

Beautiful, romantic setting and wonderful food. We only tried Luminaria for dinner, but they are open for breakfast and lunch as well. It was so beautiful at night, though!
