We had dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was fairly full. We were greeted very nicely and promptly seated. Our waiter Juan provided great advice on our wine to go with our dinner selection. Food was prompt, well presented and absolutely delicious. Was a wonderful night. We had dinner Saturday night in the Lobby Bar and our waitress Blanca was attentive and again we had a great selection of food from the menu and it did not disappoint. We also had breakfast on Sunday morning and again we had the same experience. Our waiter Carlos was attentive and the food was again great and well presented.

I have been all over the world and dined in some of the best international eateries known. Also from NY to LA, Chicago and New Orleans. We had the best Salmon dinner ever here 3/13/2013. Service, meal, price and decor was better than expected. Everyone in our dinner party raved about the meal.........Do not miss this restaurant on your stay in historic Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I opted for the most convenient choice after my arrival to Santa Fe. Since we were staying at the Inn and Spa at Loretto that meant Luminaria. The space is cool--decent design and atmosphere. The service was attentive, but there were very few diners, and the menu was relatively creative. The prices for the mains run $29-40. I opted for two appetizers, which run $10-17. I chose the lobster tacos (a special that night) and the garlic shrimp with Spanish chorizo. The lobster was obscured by the marinade, which was unfortunate. The garlic shrimp were plump and cooked just right. On the whole, I wasn't wowed, but nothing really to complain about either.

Had heard this was a great place to dine, so we tried it for lunch on Sunday, March 3rd. The first thing we noticed, is that it took our waiter a long time to come to our table. The second thing, was I had a complete set of dirty silverware and there were squashed muffins on the floor next to my seat. I ordered the grilled romaine salad with shrimp and it had no flavor. The shrimp was barely cooked and tasteless. My husband had tortilla soup and it consisted of cubed chicken and a few ingredients in a small cup. Some cold muffins and bread were served after we asked for them. We immediately decided not to waste any more $$ on the food at this restaurant. This was during restaurant week, however we did not have any discounts or promos. Not sure what was going on with many of the restaurants in SF this weekend, but this one sure could use some better management, chef's, and service. Will not return!
