The museum provides a valuable window into the history and culture of Native Americans. Very well designed displays, with both permanent and changing exhibits. Part of Museum Pass.

A very engaging and interesting museum. Many original artefacts, each with their own quirky stories behind them. The museum is the perfect side, managing to concisely cover many aspects of Indian art and culture; important life stages, education, language and more. Try and catch a free guided tour round the museum! Our guide was very interesting, sharing lots of extra knowledge about the exhibits.

They sell a four museum pass for just $20, good for four days. If you can't make four museums you can get fewer for less money. It is a good deal. This museum is one of the four on the pass.
I was so happy to find this place, just outside the downtown area at an area called "Museum Hill." You will need a car to reach it.
What a beautiful museum. They had an extensive and well defined display of artifacts from Indian culture. The museum also had video monologues and other recordings from Native American's about their life and memories.
I was especially happy that I got to see the special exhibit, "Turquoise, Water and Sky." I didn't realize the importance of the stone to Indian culture.
Even if you don't have a strong desire to learn about Native American Indian Culture I think you will find this museum of interest.
Even the setting for the museum is attractive. It sits on a large plaza with an outside sculpture garden and a nearby restaurant.

The location of this museum is beautiful. There are always interesting shows. The current turquoise show is exceptional.
The permantant pottery and weaving shows are also very good.
