An amazing mix of people attending opening night of the Opera with everything from ball gowns to shorts and running shoes. Looking through the back wall into the west as the sun went down and the music was soaring, was an unforgettable experience. Do it if you get the chance.

It's almost (but not quite) not about the opera! The setting is unparalleled, as is the experience. Dress up, but warmly! It gets cold up there even in the summer.

This is a Santa Fe MUST SEE! Absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking and stunning! I am not a huge opera fan, but they are pretty amazing. There are often concerts here before and after the opera season that are generally pretty great. We saw Al Green there once...AMAZING!

I have always wanted to go to the Santa Fe opera, and now I want to go back.

We took our family of 5 (including a 3rd, 4th, and 6th grader) to Tosca. It would not have been my first choice of an opera for kids (only the 6th grader had been before), but it was the best choice that coincided with our vacation window in the Southwest.

We attended the pre opera dinner and lecture. Lovely ambiance, good food, and a very interesting talk about the opera. (We also had the kids listen to highlights of Tosca and read a libretto summary before we left home).

We had terrific seats, ordered as far as advance as possible, including becoming a supporter of the opera in order to get better ticket access. It was well worth it. 2nd and 3rd row center.

It was a lovely evening. I will never forget the sets of Tosca, with the evening sky of Santa Fe twinkling behind them. Just magical.

We have probably been to the Met a dozen times or so, so we are not total beginners but not opera snobs. The quality here seemed absolutely on par to us.

Go. We are going again.

A great facility that has great productions. Most seats are excellent, just a few with view problems. Wonderful to be outside. Take a tour of the facility and see the incredible amount of work that goes into their productions. And the huge staff required.
