“No tourists”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

When we visited in March 2013, we were surprised how touristy Santa Fe seems, though all we really saw were locals with drug problems and police.

We spent time walking around the plaza, eating, and drinking overlooking the square. Although the setting is nice enough, there was no atmosphere.

“Fun to walk around even if you are not a shopper.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2013

I am not a big shopper, but we had a great time walking around the plaza for a day and a half. It just seems to go on and on. It is fun to just sit in the square and people watch.

All of the business owners were nice, even when we were walking in the stores with our young children.

“Lively Area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

My travel companion and I wandered through Santa Fe's historic district for a couple of hours on a weekday afternoon, and The Plaza is the central hub. It was full of people, which provided a nice atmosphere. There's plenty of shopping and eating choices around this area, too.

“Head's up”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

I love The Plaza. Packard's is a great place to stop in a dream a little.

I was a little concerned about walking from point a to point b at night. I did not feel like I was in danger, but I did wish that the plaza had better lighting at night-time. I was glad to be walking with other people.

Head's up and be aware! (Like you have to be at all times these day). Summer should not be a problem.

“Inspiring Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

This is a must see for anyone visiting the Santa Fe area. There are plenty of shops and people here are so friendly. The regions Native American's set up their displays for items hand made by them at a remarkable price. This is truly a must see for anyone visiting the area. Enjoyed the Plaza very much, and its also within walking distance of most hotels in the area, as was much of the restaraunts. Definitely worth going back for!!!
