Simply great. Superb service, beautiful casitas (splurge and get a second story one, or else you'll have a view of the parking lot), 15 minutes to downtown Santa Fe. BRAVO!

Room Tip: See above re 2nd story casita

The best thing about this hotel is that they manage to balance low key elegance with terrific service. They do everything for you that you could possibly want, but they are not obtrusive. They check you in and make you feel like you have been a guest 10 other times, even if it is your first time. They accompany you to your room which is set apart in buildings away from the lobby. They spend 15 minutes with you showing you the resort. They open doors, they deliver ice, drinks are complimentary, they deliver firewood in the winter. Night turn down service is fantastic. They have normal room service for food and drinks 24 hours per day. The spa is excellant. The ambiance of the hotel, set in the mountains 7 miles outside of downtown Santa Fe, is relaxing and beautiful. When you think of this hotel? Think of the Four Seasons Hotels or something similar. Small, personal and elegant. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

My husband and I stayed here over Thansgiving and had a fABULOUS time! The rooms are above and beyond excellence. The staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. The location was perfect and very peaceful scenery. The spa will take your breath away. We will certainly go back. I highly recommend this hotel. Don't miss the little toen on Tesuque just down the road - there is a little reaturant called the tesuque market that is GREAT for breakfast. It is a local place with lots of charm! I hope you enjoy!

This hotel is just another wonderful example of the Auberge family of resorts. Cannot think of a single thing I would change. The spa is probably the best in NM and one of the best we ever experienced. The restaurant Terra is terrfic and sitting on the patio watching the sun set while drinking a glass of wine is perhaps one of the best ways to end a terrifc day at the resort.

This is a special place and having one of the resort's Mercedes to buzz around in while plotting your return is indeed, AWESOME!

I can't enough good things about the Encantado. The resort is lovely. The rooms are new, modern and spacious. I wanted to shrink the bathroom, put it in my suitcase and take it home with me. We also loved the terrace off our room and the fireplace (not to mention the fact that you just call room service and they come light it for you). Other delights include the complementary car service into town, the pillow treats and the fire pit where you can make s'mores.

This is the most phenomenal resort. Beautiful location. Wonderful food. Flawless and low key service. Definitely try the weekend yoga classes in the specially designed yoga studio. Cat the instructor was terrific. Because the resort is so great it makes the tiny flaws stand out. The in room coffee machine didn't work ( but was quickly fixed ) but most irritatingly you could easily hear music and voices in the next room. Don't expect to be able to hear a peep at a resort of this calibre.
