We ate at the Duck Soup Inn a few nights ago and the meal was one of the best we have ever had. We had Turkish green figs as a starter, Alaskan wild salmon and filet mignon for entree and a divine chocolate pot du creme for dessert. The staff know the menu and preparations, the wine list is comprehensive. Can't say enough good things about this place. Their attention to detail is superb.

Great venue. Marginal food. Not sure what else to say. Essentially no flavor, but beautiful evening and beautiful location. But would not go there again. Definitely not worth the price!

Outstanding and original cuisine with great service in a charming cabin in the woods. I had fresh halibut which was beautifully prepared and artfully presented. Not too expensive when considering the quality and comparing it with other fine dining establishments. I will definitely return.

Nice restaurant with a very nice ambiance but it is not an inexpensive place to go. The most inexpensive thing on the menu was soup, salad and bread for $18.00. The steak Diane was $38.00. We had a dessert for $9.00. The food was well prepared but expect to pay plenty for appetizer, wine and a meal. Most entrees were $28 to $38 dollars. A nice place for a celebration.

Hard to beat the setting, especially if you're a tourist from far away as we were. Just a few minutes North of Friday Harbor and down a short gravel road? Yes a gravel road leads up to the cabin in the woods. Inside is a lodge-like feel where we enjoyed an excellent dining experience. I had the steak diane, which I overheard a server is the only thing that is always on the menu. My wife had the fresh catch special. Meals come with soup and salad. We each had a drink and split a dessert and with gratuity spent about a hundred dollars. It might be a while before we get back to the island, but we would have to make this a regular stop.
