“Convenient, Clean AND Cozy Cabin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

This place was perfect for our long weekend to the islands from San Diego. Not only were we blessed with perfect weather we had amazing serene and HAPPY time at the lovely Juniper Inn Cabin! It was spotless, cozy and felt like a home. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our family retreat. My husband loved cooking us a family breakfast in the kitchen with a view and I of course enjoyed sipping wine on the deck with the view of the valley. Our 15 year old "loved" trying to keep up with our 4 year old running around the cabin down to pick the fresh berries and see the sheep up close. The fact that we were so close to town and even had our own parking spot in front of the cabin was a bonus. When we come back to the San Juan's we will come and stay again.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. This place was reasonably priced and had enough room for 6 beds. They had a nice kitchen area for folks to cook. Even had an outdoors area with a fire pit with a view of a farm. It was very relaxing to read a book outside while listening to the sheep outside. The decorating style was fun & funky.

The cabin we stayed was cute and cozy, a beautiful deck in the back that had a wonderful veiw, it was like going back in time with the squeeky screen door, the woodstove, and the rustic look, the bed was very comfortable and slept very well. We really enjoyed this place.

Thank you Juniper. We will be back, the room was very nice and the location was great. just enough out of town. We choose this , because we did not want to sink all a vacation money into a hotel or b&b that we would not be spending much time in because of all the activities we had planned. we stayed 4 nights and would loved to have stayed longer.

"I love this place." That was my 12-year-old daughter's four word review of Juniper Lane. We recently had the good fortune to spend close to a week in the San Juan Islands. We used Juniper Lane as our home based for the first half of the trip. It is a place with personality that seems to attract people with personality. We met delightful fellow-travelers here - and the ambiance and common areas (including the well-stocked and immaculate kitchen) encouraged socializing. The room was creatively decorated, clean, and comfortable. The location was terrific... Recommendation - grab a bottle of wine from the San Juan Vineyard, and some bread and cheese from the market in Friday Harbor and enjoy the late afternoon/evening view over the pastoral fields from Juniper Lane's back patio... a relaxing way to end the day...

Inviting creative decor, amazing character, stunning views of beautiful fields! Clean and well equipped kitchens! Absolutely charming! Near to Downtown Friday Harbor, yet has a country feel! We love the little cabin with its own kitchen, had three young adults stay there. The other two couples stayed in the main house upstairs in gorgeous rooms! The main house also has a fully furnished kitchen and we made breakfast there. We enjoyed meeting other guests. The sun is setting now and streaming through the windows and skylights. I wish this was my house, seriously. We looked at other places, this is the best! You can stay here inespensively if you share one of the rooms with a hall bath and bunks.

The guest house is welcoming, esthetically delightful and at the same time creating a peaceful ambience. I began to refer to it as home almost immediately. It had everything we were looking for. The location blended accessibility with being out of the middle of things. The kitchen well stocked and inviting enough to become a place to meet other guests and to spend time with our co-travellers. The back yard was a great place to rest in the evening or to read in one of the hammocks. Juniper is gracious and attentive without being intrusive. It was a lovely stay in every way.
