This bit of island history is well worth checking out. Who knew a pig could be such a linchpin of history. Nice trails for short hikes. Rangers are very helpful in identifying flora and fauna.

We don't necessarily go to historical places while on vacation, but this was just a lovely park. They had a telescope set up in the visitors' center focused on an osprey nest in a far-off tree, there's an easy to watch movie that tells the story of the Pig War and how the troops came to be there, and lots of explanatory signs. The views are beautiful and many nice hiking trails around the area. Highly recommend a visit to English Camp.

English Camp was a beautiful place to spend a few hours with my wife on our trip. It wasn't as big as we thought but given it rained the entire time, we didn't explore as much as we wanted to. We would love to go back!

Loved the history and beauty of this incredible place. I never knew any of this before our visit. Beautiful drive, as well. We accidentally found it on our way to the Alpaca Farm.

This park is on a quiet lagoon and you reach it by walking down a path through quiet forest. The garden is pretty and a few of the old buildings are still there. Just watching the lagoon, geese, small boats is very pleasant and worth the time. The history of this and American Camp was a very interesting story about the development of our national boundaries.
