Service was really good, but the food just wasn't exceptional. The tuna tartar was a very small portion and didn't taste all that fresh. The pork was good, but not exceptional. It would not be my first choice of restaurants.

First thing, you need to book as there are 9 tables.
It is a quiet restaurant where food is very good. Portions are of a decent size and dishes are good and tasty.
It is a bit too pricey, count 60 per person, but everything is on this island.
Tip of the day: Go for the lavender icecream for dessert, brilliant !

We heard about this place from an article in the Kenmore Air magazine and decided to give this place a try. The good reviews were spot on. We ordered the crab cakes for a starter and they were excellent...lots of crab. Then we ordered the grilled shrimp with polenta (as my meal) and my husband ordered the roasted chicken. Again both were fabulous. To end our meal we ordered their version of Cherry Gracia's ice cream. It was better than the Ben and Jerry's version. It was loaded with cherries and chocolate--sooo good. We ended the evening with their port sampler. This is a serious restaurant for people who seriously love food.

The restaurant is small so reservations are recommended. The service is casual which is nice for a fine dining restaurant. And after all, it is an island. We will definitely be back.

This is a small restaurant with lots of demand so make a reservation if you hope to eat there on a Friday or Saturday evening. They have a nice wine list and a fairly short but excellent menu. The service is top notch, attentive but not hovering. We sat by the door to the kitchen and it was a little distracting since the servers must slide it open and closed everytime then go through it. They were pretty good with their feet though :)

Good food. Mostly turned off though by being charged $14 for a glass of "house red". Maybe I should have more closely looked at the wine list to see what was going to be charged, but... since I didn't, felt that they took full advantage. Very hot & crowded though, also, with the door to the restroom about 8" from my chair...

Thank you for dining with us. Last week, we had our Pacific Northwest version of a heat wave with temperatures in the mid-eighties during the day with a refreshing 15 degree temperature drop at night. It was the hottest weather we experienced in the past 2 years. The heat wave lasted a day and a half and we are now back to our typical moderate summer temperatures. The restaurant's ceiling fans do a great job cooling the dining room. There is fan directly above the table where you ate.

We hope that you enjoyed our house red. It is a custom blend made by Northwest Totem Cellars, Washington and has our house label, Mona Vino, named after the Island's beloved dromedary. We offer this full bodied, food-friendly Bordeaux-style wine by the glass at $14. Coho's wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator for the last five years with an Award of Excellence. Each year, Wine Spectator makes mention that Coho's wine list is value priced.
