We had 3 rooms in August and all were clean and the staff was very helpful. We were surprised to have all our rooms together since we didn't ask for that.

We were very disappointed in the Red Roof Inn. The 1st problem we had was the bed sheets had pubic hairs in it. After waiting 30 min they finally came to change the sheets. The next day after spending the day at the zoo we come to the hotel at 6pm and find that they have yet to make the room up. They also closed the pool down for repainting, in the middle of the summer. The only good out of all that was the hotel manager worked with us and gave us a free night's stay. I suggest not staying here.

Large, clean room. We were surprised to find a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Absolutely no complaints about the room.

Continental breakfast was a joke, about a dozen donuts and pretty awful juice. Plan on skipping this and going to get food.

Area is okay, we felt safe. Lots of food within walking distance.

Overall, not bad if you want to save some $.

We stayed at the Red roof in September and found everything very enjoyable. Everything we needed was there and we also very much enjoyed the pool. We do feel tho, that the pool should stay open longer in the evenings because it is so hot. We brought our airman back to the Inn with us and he had a long hot bath (something he hadn't had in 6 weeks!) And he lounged in the pool. Today my airman is staying there again as his wife is graduating from BMT on Friday. There is a Denny;s right next door and also a little store. I found the accomadations and the people who work there great, and would stay there again. Thanks

First we arrive (after securing my reservations w/my credit card) and the rooms are not available. Then there are no rooms that can accomadate us. So we squeeze into a King Suite (no rollaways available, said they are a fire hazard) there are three of us. The room smelled and there was a white smoke like substance blowing out of the air conditioner. The room was not that cold also indicating to me that there could be a problem with the A/C itself. Then we get a call saying a room just became available..........this is after of course we unloaded our stuff into the room. We switch to the "new" room and it was dirty in general. The toilet seat was half off and the water would scald you one minute and then freeze you the next. The maid service was a joke. She needs a new profession. The only good thing I can say is that the hotel clerk went out of his way to try and help us. He gave us a disc per night also.
